Security Shift UK is a marketplace, not an employer. The platform connects independent self-employed SIA-licensed contractors with UK businesses for temporary, casual and emergency security cover. The platform does not employ officers, recruit for permanent positions, or act as an employment business.

Officers are responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, statutory insurance where applicable, and trading position.

Companies remain responsible for on-site supervision, risk assessments, statutory health and safety obligations, and engaging officers in line with their own due diligence.
