›Is Security Shift UK a recruitment agency?
No. We are a marketplace facilitating direct engagement between self-employed officers and businesses. We do not employ officers.
›Who handles tax and NI for officers?
Officers are self-employed and responsible for their own tax and National Insurance position.
›What licences are accepted?
SIA Door Supervisor, Security Guard, CCTV, Close Protection, plus ACT Awareness and Right to Work.
›What happens if an officer no-shows?
An emergency broadcast goes to nearby officers on a best-endeavours basis. Disruption recovery fees may apply to the no-showing officer.
›Can I post a permanent role?
No. Posting permanent, full-time or salaried roles is not permitted on the platform.
›Is identity re-verified per shift?
Yes. Each check-in requires a fresh GPS-verified selfie.
